Hi Benjamin, After a lot of testing yesterday I discovered that this patch introduces a bug. It's on my TODO list. The issue is in vb2_core_queue_release(), the patch shouldn't change __vb2_queue_free() second parameter. When removing this change, unbalanced messages disappear.
