Unfortunately, the selection doesn't happen automatically because the SHA code isn't too well organized. To solve your problem, I would prefer that you take the series in (1) -- there's a second patch after it -- and use "select HASH" here. You're asking "What's the difference ?". The difference is that "HASH" is an existing Kconfig symbol, so we don't need to also add "HASH_CALULATE".
