This would make it much easier to compare .slot_reset() implementations across drivers. I agree that "slot_reset_done()" is more descriptive and would probably have been a better name for the function pointer, but that ship has sailed. I'd suggest "mpi3mr_pcierr_error_detected()" for the same reason.
